Schedule every 4–8 weeks for most hair types; darker shades and fast-growing hair may need closer to four weeks. We recommend a personalized plan based on your color, growth rate, and maintenance preferences.
Retouches are designed primarily to refresh roots and preserve overall color; they won't dramatically change your shade. If you want a noticeable color shift or full-length change, book a full color service or consult your stylist.
Retouches work best for single-process root coverage. For balayage or highlights, we may recommend targeted root blending or a custom touch-up to keep dimension while avoiding over-processing lightened sections.
When performed by our professionals with appropriate products, retouches minimize damage by limiting processing to the roots. We use gentle formulas and bond-supporting treatments as needed and advise tailored aftercare.
